The GMIA Annual Dinner will be held June 22 at the Cuyamaca College Student Center. The dinner this year has a western theme, so you’re invited to show up in your cowboy gear. We’ll be providing bandanas as part of the fun.
Our new county supervisor, Monica Montgomery Steppe, will be the keynote speaker. If you would like to submit a question to her, send it to [email protected].
The social hour begins at 4:30 p.m. and dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. We’ll be offering a barbecue meal of smoked chicken in barbecue sauce with buns, beans, corn and potato-mac salad.
If you’d like to learn more about Cuyamaca College, be sure to sign up for a tour beginning at 4 p.m.
A raffle will be held with items that include a two-night stay at Santee Lakes, $100 gift card to Ruth Chris steak house, Swarovski jewelry, original artist-created pottery and other items.
The cost of the dinner is $30 until June 15, and $35 after that date.
